Jessy is a career coach you can talk to. You ask questions, share what you're working on, and over time Jessy helps you think through decisions, find roles that fit you, and write sharper applications.
As you continue chatting, Jessy will continue to get more useful. Here's what that looks like:
Career direction. Jessy will dig into what you actually want — what kinds of roles fit your skills, what's a dealbreaker, what's making you look in the first place. If your preferences and the market don't line up, Jessy will tell you. ("Async-only plus this niche stack is filtering you out of most roles. Want to relax one of those, or wait it out?")
Finding roles. Once Jessy has a sense of you, it surfaces 5-10 matches a week — with the reasoning attached. Why this role, why this company, why now. You can tell Jessy where you'd love to land — and what's not for you.
Application support. You log the jobs you apply to. Jessy keeps track, scores how well your resume pitches each role, points out what a recruiter would skim past, and tells you what to sharpen. Before an interview, Jessy pulls together a brief on the company — tech stack, team size, funding, culture, known interview patterns — so you walk in informed.
Pattern spotting. After you've logged a few applications, Jessy starts noticing things. "You get 4x more responses from Series B companies." "Tuesday-Wednesday applications come back faster." The kind of feedback you don't usually get about your own job search.
Working in the background. Between conversations, Jessy keeps an eye on things. You'll hear when something's worth knowing. No spam, no nudges for the sake of nudges.
Memory. Jessy remembers you. Ask "what do you know about me?" any time — fix what's off, or wipe the slate.
Jessy doesn't apply to jobs for you. You still apply yourself. It also doesn't talk to recruiters or employers on your behalf, schedule your interviews, evaluate offers, or recommend courses — those are in the longer plan, but not in the beta.
Jessy is in beta. Some of what's described above is working today; some is being built. If something isn't working for you, or you'd like to make a suggestion, just tell Jessy — that feedback shapes what we build next.
Conversations are encrypted. Your data isn't sold. Conversations aren't used to train AI models. Nothing about you is shared with employers — and you can ask Jessy what it knows about you, correct anything, or delete it all, any time.
